LUMS - FFC Signs MoU with LUMS for Two NOP Scholarships

According to a notification, issued by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on Thursday, December 13, 2012 to provide two scholarships towards the LUMS National Outreach Programme (NOP).

As per the agreement, the fund created will be called Sona Welfare Foundation (SWF) Scholarship Fund, which will finance the undergraduate education at LUMS, of two NOP scholars.

At the signing ceremony, FFC was represented by GM-Planning & Logistics Iqbal Bukhari, SM-Administration Brig Farooq Yaqoob, DM-CSR Maliha Malik, and Ex-CSR Ali Azizuddin; while on LUMS’ behalf, Vice Chancellor LUMS Dr. Adil Najam and Hammad Akbar from LUMS Office of Marketing, Fund Raising & Alumni, were present.
