LUMS - Abdus Salam ICTP Extends Term With CASM

According to a notification, issued by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics(ICTP), Trieste Italy, has extended Federation Agreement between their Centre and the Centre for Advanced Studies in Mathematics(CASM), LUMS for another three years, until 2015.

Under this agreement, young (below 40 years) researchers from LUMS will be able to visit the Abdus Salam ICTP in Trieste, for participating in scientific activities(conferences/workshops/schools) and forging scientific collaborations.

Researchers active in research will visit the ICTP centres for a period to be determined by ICTP and CASM. Such visits will coincide with ongoing activities at the centre which are directly relevant to the field of specialization of the individual scientists concerned.
