Total quantity of carbon emitted in Islamabad and its suburbs

May 20, 2016: According to the information made available to the National Assembly as part of the question & answer session, the Carbon emission is not covered in National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS) notified under Section 11 of Pakistan Environmental Protection Act, 1997. Therefore, Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak EPA) is not monitoring carbon emission in Islamabad.
