Steps taken by the Government to solve public transport problem in Islamabad

According to the information made available to the National Assembly by the Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control (Ch. Nisar Ali Khan), the transport in Islamabad is being run by private sector. ICT Administration exercise regulatory and supervisory role in administering the public transport in Islamabad. However, in order to improve the public transport, CDA in its Board Meeting held on 1-1-2014 has decided to launch Islamabad Bus Service
