The PAC-PAD is a table, similar of Apple iPad. PAC refers to Pakistan Aeronautical Complex. According to reports and the official website of the joint venture program, PAC-PAD 1 is a tablet with the following features:
1. Professional grade performance
2. Vibrant crisp colour display
3. Unrestrained web browsing and downloading
4. Full computing power in a tablet format
5. Multitouch capacitive screen
6. 7 inch LCD display with full HD resolution
According to the technical specification document, the device runs on Android 2.3, an operating system made by Google and given away for free. The price of the device, according to the join venture website, is Rs. 15, 500.
